Ysabel LeMay

In ’87, Ysabel LeMay began a thriving career as a graphic artist. She eventually transitioned into fine arts, leaving the advertising world to devote herself full-time to her painting, studying at the prestigious Emily Carr University of Art & Design in Vancouver.

In ’10, Ysabel turned her attention to photography. Combining her technical expertise with her deep roots as a painter, she continued her exploration into the power and divinity of nature through a unique process she calls “Photo-Fusion.” Her innovative technique is a lengthy process during which hundreds of photographs are taken. She then assembles one detail at a time in a painterly fashion to form a single composition.

In ’11, LeMay was selected as the winner of the Kipton Art Rising Star program in New York. She has exhibited throughout the US, Europe and Canada. View even more of Ysabel’s mesmerizing photographs
